Our first day of sightseeing in Hyannis started off with a cool but partly sunny morning but the weather became increasingly cooler and cloudy into the evening. Luckily, the second morning was much warmer, though still partly cloudy. Regardless, we moved on to our plan to experience one of Cape Cod’s beaches, the original draw of the area. Having got some advice from shopkeepers and restaurant staff in Hyannis, we had decide to check out Chapin Memorial Beach. It turned out to be very nice and we were able to enjoy some lovely views as well as some wading, beachcombing and shell gathering.
