Though the forecast was calling for rain, I had researched and chosen 5 buildings that featured mostly large interior spaces that were fairly close together, so a little weather was no reason to pass up Doors Open this year. We started at Redpath Sugar, then popped over to the nearby Artscape Daniels Launchpad (from where we could enjoy further views of the Redpath facility). Then, with the rain mostly gone and after a quick bite to eat, we took in 3 closely grouped locations, Commerce Court North, the Design Exchange, and TD Bank’s new conference centre. Though the TD Bank interiors were not large, there was some great art, including great landscape photos by Sarah Anne Johnson! Overall, mission accomplished.
